Officers with the Simi Valley Police Department are on track to get a raise in coming months, according to police union officials. Sgt. Tim Wedemeyer, president of the Simi Valley Police Officers Association, said union members voted in favor of a tentative agreement last week that would give all 105 members a 6% raise in April 2023 and a 4% raise in April 2024, leading to a total raise of 10.24% over the next two years. The raise has yet to be finalized by the Simi Valley City Council, which must approve the agreement during an open session meeting.
